Daan Veldhuizen's documentary on the forgotten Dutch colonial chapter of West Papua: restored 35mm archival footage set against interviews with Papuans in exile, filmed with an eye-direct system inspired by Errol Morris's Interrotron. The promised referendum, the "Act of Free Choice", was a sham.
