Four-part documentary thriller (international title: Hidden) directed by Chris Westendorp and Mea Dols de Jong, following investigative journalist Huib Modderkolk of de Volkskrant into the hidden world of hackers, spies, sabotage and disinformation. Much of this world was not allowed to be seen on camera, so the cinematography works with through-shots, reflections and shadow, the constant feeling of being watched.
