A silhouette with a cigarette, caught behind an abstract grid of glass. A dreamlike gaze in the neon night of Taipei. A woman mowing her lawn while a wall of fire turns the sky red behind her.
Three images. Three worlds.
For twenty years I worked as an NSC cinematographer on other people's stories. Ten years ago I started photographing for myself. A year ago, for the first time, generative AI entered the work.
The result is my first solo exhibition: (t)HERE. From pure, analogue observation to fully constructed dreams. Made all over the world, shown in my new home.
The doors open on 6 and 7 June, in my own studio and in the town hall of Oosterbeek, as part of Kunstroute Renkum.
