A Way to B

IDFA 2022 Master selection; nominated for the IDFA Award for Best Dutch Film. A documentary-dance film by Jos de Putter and Clara van Gool portraying the Catalan collective Liant la Troca, led by choreographer Jordi Cortés Molina, whose performers live with physical disabilities. Documentary and choreography continually merge and part, moving between theatre, a public square, a forest and a living room. Shot on anamorphic lenses and transferred back to 35mm for grain and imperfection. Eye Filmmuseum called it "an experience that's as confrontational as it is moving."
